Economic Bureaucrats of Korea |
|
SummaryThis course deals with the 'era of economic bureaucracy' in which the government led Korea's economic growth from the 1950s to the early 1980s. At the time when the government led economic development, the role of economic bureaucrats was more important than it is today. From this point of view, the lecture introduces the lives and achievements of representative economic bureaucrats who led economic policy as the prime ministers, the deputy prime ministers for economy, and the ministers of economy at the time. Through this, students will be able to understand the contribution of economic bureaucrats in the development of the Korean economy during the period of rapid growth and develop a broad and balanced perspective on the Korean economic development process. |
