InstructorThis course examines the major changes and characteristics of the Korean labor market from an economic perspective. It systematically covers core topics in the Korean labor market, such as the minimum wage, gender wage gap, women's economic participation, working hour regulations, employment protection systems, unemployment benefits, and immigration policy. In this process, students will understand the effects of labor market institutions and policies through economic theories and empirical analysis results. Additionally, it provides a comprehensive view of the particularity and universality of the Korean labor market through international comparisons. |
