Korea's Farmland Reform |
|
SummaryWhile examining Korea's land reform, this course first looks at the historical process through which the landlord system—the target of the reform—was formed, in order to understand the background of the reform's implementation. It also closely examines the twists and turns that occurred during the process of establishing the land reform plan and actually executing it. Finally, it discusses how the "land to the tiller" spirit of the land reform can be inherited in a modern way. Students will be able to deepen their understanding of the formation of Korea's modern state and its economic growth process. |
